Similar services have advanced rapidly since we last offered Data Vault subscriptions in April 2006.  We recommend XDrive from aol.com, for example.

Backups are like banking, and TFW Data Vault is your safe deposit box in the bank vault, not your ATM machine on the street corner.  One you visit every week, the other only on special occasions.

This backup is for disaster recovery, and for migrating you from a failed or outdated computer to a new one.  TFW is often called upon for these disaster recoveries and migrations.  As part of this service, TFW helps you get everything into its proper place on a new computer.  On short notice we can send you a download link for your latest backup.

Run TFW Data Vault by double clicking the desktop icon.  TFW Data Vault begins immediately, without asking you anything further.  Give it an uninterrupted five or ten minutes to complete. 

TFW Data Vault needs an Internet connection to take your backup to a secure vault offsite.  You may need to tell your firewall to trust TFW Data Vault.

You may also schedule TFW Data Vault to run automatically at the same time each day or week.
